Being a wedding photographer I get to travel around to different venues and meet with different suppliers throughout the day. If I believe they do a good job and I love what they do, they get mentioned on here, it’s as simple as that. If you love what I do you probably have a similar taste to me, so these wonderful suppliers below are the best wedding suppliers I have had the pleasure of working with and therefore well worth a look.
Bridal Wear
I don’t know too much about wedding dresses, but these absolutely lovely people do. So, ask them for advice and browse their beautiful dresses in their shops instead of asking me and I’ll take pretty pictures of you in it on your special day instead 🙂

Venues
As a wedding photographer, you generally know how a venue is going to treat the couple by the way they treat the other suppliers and their staff. If they treat us well they sure as hell are going to be amazing for you! These are some of the venues that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings at that are awesome…
Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park, London – www.pembroke-lodge.co.uk/weddings
Colville Hall – https://www.colvillehallwedding.co.uk/

Five Oaks, Horsham – Tipi wedding venue – www.fiveoaksevents.co.uk
South Farm, Royston – www.south-farm.co.uk
This one I haven’t photographed at yet, but I got married here so I can tell you they were excellent!

Caterers
I’m a big foodie and love good wholesome food. But it has to be seriously good and pack serious flavour and be filling. So, if they are on this list they are worth checking out.
Owned by Tim who owns the Five Oaks tipi venue mentioned above. The food is always amazing, and their pizza is the best pizza (no they don’t give the recipe out, I’ve asked) I have EVER had! – www.themobilepizzeria.com
The Pizza above is one of the best pizzas I have eaten and no one came close until I was at a wedding and these guys were there, absolutely amazing! – Antonino’s Pizza
If you want to fill your guests up in the evening with a flatbread filled with meat, fresh salads and various toppings look no further than Snezanas Cakes & Catering. Their flatbreads are huge and damn tasty – www.snezanacatering.com
Celebrants
If you’re going to have a Humanist celebration, you simply have to have Zena Birch as your celebrant. A fabulously crazy and absolutely lovely human being who will create a bespoke ceremony just for you. She’s just fab!
Bands
This is my favourite part of the day where guests let their hair down and go for it on the dance floor. However, you need a good band to get them up there in the first place.
These bands are firstly all-round nice people but more importantly, get the guests involved and up on the dance floor.

Blue-Note Mitch & The Burning Aces – www.theburningaces.co.uk
The following bands I haven’t had the pleasure of working with but I would love to and they are recommended by other awesome photographers that I know.
I have listened to the recommendations via their website and social media channels and these ones stand out from the crowd so check them out.
Oh and if you do book the ones below, please book me for your wedding photography (if you haven’t already) so I can have a chance to work with them! 🙂

Magicians
I have loved magic all my life, I wish I could do it but in some ways feel that would take the “magic” away from it. I love just watching them amaze with their skills, it always makes me smile.
These guys (never met a female one yet, come on ladies!) are impressive and I have no idea how they do what they do, it blows my mind!

Hair & Makeup Artists
An art form in itself, makeup is something you don’t want to get wrong unless you want to look like a satsuma on your wedding day. These makeup artists are worth every penny even if slightly more than your average make up artist.

Photo Booth
Forget the traditional photo booth check out my Gif Photo Booth instead! I can easily bring it along on the wedding day as it’s quick and easy to setup. Plus get a discount if you book it with one of my wedding packages.
If you want something that prints but a little different from other photo booths I can highly recommend the Photobot. This photo booth gets you to pull different poses every time and is great fun. The guys that run this are also great! Check them out below.
Cake!
You could probably tell that I’m a fan of biscuits but I also LOVE cake. Being a wedding photographer, one of the perks of the job is that I get to sample the wedding cake, yum! If I know who’s made the cake and I think it’s awesome they’ll be on this list.
